Located in the central interior of BC, approximately 125 km/75 miles east of Quesnel or 30 km/18 miles north of Barkerville, Bowron Lake Lodge is the ideal family friendly resort that offers close proximity to both the lake and the river, as well as stunning scenic views.
Accessible by Road
Bowron Lake Lodge can easily be accessed by a well-maintained gravel road. Campers who will be visiting us from the Greater Vancouver area should drive along Highway 97 North to Quesnel (660 km/409 miles) and then east on Highway 26 to Wells and Barkerville. A short distance before the entrance to Barkerville, you will need to turn north onto Bowron Lake Park Road and drive another 30 minutes (30 km/19 miles) to reach the resort.
Accessible by Air Travel
Campers who plan on traveling to Bowron Lake Lodge by air can easily catch connecting commercial flights from Vancouver, Calgary, or Edmonton. Once you land in Quesnel or Prince George, you will need to travel another 2-3 hours to the resort by road.
